The Benson-class destroyers are one of the most improved class of destroyers you can play in game. They are mischievous due to their smoke generator and now at their tier, their torpedoes can be as potent as their Japanese counterparts. Playing the Benson is like playing a new type of destroyer, one that can surprise the enemy and a liability to even capture points of control as the Benson can be as stealthy as her adversary. However, be warned she may have some good sides but she also has her flaws as her smoke generator can only last little and you cant prepare a sneak attack as you still need to pop the smoke and let it cover the ship. However, with all these cons she is a tier for tier match at tier 8.

Benson and her sister destroyers were a mainstay in the U.S. Navy in WWII. Her weapons and system were a peak of technology at that time. Her torpedoes were mounted in upgraded quintuple torpedo tubes
