USS Bogue is the Second evolution in the American carrier line. The Langley was designed to introduce carriers to new players, equipped with only 2 squadrons of dive bombers. While Bogue trades one of these squadrons for more tricky yet more powerful torpedo bombers, as well as increasing each squadron planes. The ship itself is marginally better armored and more maneuverable, but is equipped with a much more powerful AA suite compared to her predecessor, allowing her to reliably shoot down attacking enemy aircraft.
A low-speed escort aircraft carrier built from a transport ship. Due to her modest size, the ship carried a relatively small air group. Soon after being commissioned, the aircraft carrier was rearmed with dual-purpose artillery and received reinforced AA defenses.
