Roles: Großer Kurfürst is the ultimate tank for the team. Opponents, tempted by its big size, will pummel her with shells, only to find her unscathed. If a Großer Kurfürst can survive past the early game (which it usually does), it can brawl other ships with ease, especially other Battleships.

Playstyle: A Großer Kurfürst player will want to stay back for a majority of the battle, taking hits for the team and slowly chipping damage off of enemy ships. The real fun comes in late game, where a Großer Kurfürst can extend and take full advantage of it’s superior secondary armament. The greatest advantage of such a huge survivability is that a Großer Kurfürst can do damage for the full duration of the battle.
Tricks: Reserve the precise aiming ability for long range targets. Otherwise avoid targets that do not show broadside, because the horrible accuracy will likely result in many misses.
Counters: Any ship that can set massive amounts of fires will sink a lone Großer Kurfürst quickly. Destroyers will also find her an easy target, because of her horrid maneuverability and large size. It is a critical for a destroyer not to get within secondary range, otherwise it will be shredded by the secondaries.
Combo Matchups: She can tank for any other large ship, like Battleships and other cruisers. The Großer Kurfürst takes most of the damage, while receiving fire support from teammates.
