Playstyle: Any captain of Ranger should follow this strategy. First, keep at least one of your strike aircraft squadrons in reserve. You will need them just in case your flank is collapsing. Next, use your fighters to scout/protect your team. Later, Send 2 strike squadrons after you have spotted the latter enemy ships. Just in case you have an enemy DD hunting you down, use your reserved squadrons to deal with them. always hide behind an island in this case to keep torpedo attacks very hard. It will also keep you from getting detected. If you can, advance to Lexington
Tricks: Hide behind islands to evade detection and torpedo strikes.
Counters: Any Fast DDs, or North Carolina
Combo Matchups: Escort Cruisers
