General information[]
The Warspite is one the Royal Navy's most famous battleship. While very well armored, she is also a very slow battleship, of the WW1 Era. Her fairly thick armor and well-trained crew served her well enough to survive several torpedo hits, the largest naval battle of the first World War (Jutland) and, towards the end of her career, broke her own towing wire on the way to the dockyard for scrapping.
In World of Warships Blitz, Warspite has a few shortcomings, namely her slow turret traverse speed and low barrel count (8) for other tier six BB's (Japan and America have 12) and a large superstructure, an HE spammers XP farm. While the guns are of higher caliber, and thus greater penetrating power, the actual salvo weight itself is lower, but it will give you a higher citadel chance against non-angled targets (and those pesky HE spammers too.) One of her major upsides is the guns themselves, which while lower in number have an excellent damage rate, and her ridiculous cruiser-like handling (her base rudder traverse speed is 1.6 seconds lower than Leander) allows her to dodge sniper shots at long range.
